In this role, you will share ownership of Anthropic's global trademarks and domains practice, spanning clearance, prosecution, portfolio management, and enforcement, partnering closely with other members of our IP team, outside counsel, and business teams.</p> <p>Anthropic's brands are among its most valuable assets, and you will help protect them at the pace the AI industry moves. Our trademark practice spans a rapidly growing global portfolio, a high-volume enforcement program, and naming decisions for some of the most visible products in technology. This is a hands-on role for an attorney with deep trademark expertise who wants their work to matter and who is aligned with Anthropic's mission of responsible AI development.</p> <h2><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li> <p>Run trademark clearance for new model, product, and feature names, delivering clear, risk-rated recommendations that let teams move quickly and confidently</p> </li> <li> <p>Manage global trademark prosecution and portfolio strategy in coordination with outside counsel, including filing strategy, office actions, and portfolio maintenance across many jurisdictions</p> </li> <li> <p>Lead trademark and domain enforcement end to end: assess potential infringements, select the right enforcement mechanism, work with outside counsel as necessary, and drive matters to resolution</p> </li> <li> <p>Help oversee our online brand protection program, working with
