Manager, Field Engineering - Strategic Digital Native Business

<p>As the manager of the Digital Natives Solutions Architect (SA) team, you will focus on growing and developing a team of SAs, driving the adoption of the Databricks Platform at the largest, fastest-growing tech companies.&nbsp;</p> <p>You'll be responsible for leading the team in establishing best practices throughout the full lifecycle of the customers' workloads. You will help each team member achieve success, productivity, and career growth. You will also represent Databricks as a technical leader with some of its most important customers.</p> <p>This role will work in close collaboration with sales, services, product, and engineering to drive solutions and outcomes for these highly technical customers.&nbsp; You will utilize excellent communication skills to clearly explain and demonstrate complex solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.</p> <p>This role will report to the Director of Solutions Architecture for the Strategic Digital Native Business Unit.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Hire and develop a team of deeply technical Solutions Architects capable of guiding digital native customers across a wide range of data, analytical, and AI workloads.</li> <li>Adapt the SA team's skills and engagement model to match the needs of Digital native customers&nbsp;</li> <li>Consistently meet or exceed targets by making sure the SA team knows how to technically qualify workloads, identify important use cases, build proof of concepts, and establish themselves as trusted advisors throughout the customer life-cycle</li> <li>Travel to customer sites for executive sessions, technical workshops, and building relationships</li> <li>Establish relationships across internal organizations (engineering, product, services, sales, etc.) to ensure the success of the customers and team</li> <li>Stay current with emerging Data and AI trends in the digital native tech sector</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we look for</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>4+ years of ex
