Role Summary As our Lead Documentation Engineer, you will define the strategic vision for all technical documentation at Mistral AI. Your responsibilities include: Structuring and standardizing technical content to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with the needs of users, developers, and partners. Building and leading a team of technical writers, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Support teams. Driving editorial and technical excellence, while optimizing tools and processes for scalable, high-impact documentation. Reporting directly to the VP of Engineering, ensuring documentation aligns with technical and product priorities. What you will do Strategic Leadership Define and execute a comprehensive documentation strategy aligned with product roadmaps and business objectives. Develop a forward-looking vision for documentation, anticipating the needs of diverse audiences, including developers, enterprises, and researchers. Advocate for users in product and technical discussions
