Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.</p></div><h2>About the role</h2> <p>As a member of our Litigation and Regulatory team, you will take primary responsibility for managing government and regulatory investigations, inquiries, and information requests directed at Anthropic, from initial contact through resolution. These matters may come from various sources, such as federal agencies, state attorneys general, and international regulatory bodies, and could range from informal inquiries to formal civil investigative demands, subpoenas, and multi-agency investigations. You will lead our response with minimal supervision, manage outside counsel, and work cross-functionally to gather information efficiently and with minimal disruption to the business.</p> <p>You may also advise on the regulatory dimensions of business decisions before they become inquiries, helping product, commercial, and policy colleagues understand how regulators are likely to view a launch, partnership, or practice. We may also ask you to flex into managing cases on our civil litigation docket.
